Magic Dragon...

Have you ever tried it?

Or seen it?

Dragon fruit, sometimes called Pitahaya, grows from the cactus plant.  Looks like a petite pink pineapple and when you cut it open, it is similar in texture to kiwi fruit.

Quite exotic in its attire with its vibrant hot pink skin...

...and mellow inside, bright white with tiny black seeds - tasting a bit sweet, but not quite.  Actually very deceptive in taste and a little bland.  All that show for so little on our taste buds!  Regardless, it is a delightful addition to a fruit salad, smoothie, or desert.

Try one and let me know what you think.

Ciao amici,

Easter Wishes

Happy Easter Friends!

It's been a month since my last post, but I will be back soon.  If you would like to see some of what I have been up to for the last month, take a peek at my Summer Arts Camp blog and all that is happening over there, including some fabulous art projects we have been working on for this year's Camper Kids in June.

Wishing you all a joyous Easter.

Ciao amici,
