This is me now...

...living in the Heart of Georgia.

I am classically trained in architecture and interior design, having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in interior design from the University of Georgia. As a graduate assistant at UGA, I taught furniture design, color and materials, and architectural graphics. Special studies included fabric and furniture design, paper making, bookbinding, and the history of Twentieth Century photography.  During this time I began a wholesale art and hand painted home décor business selling my art, photography, decorative arts, and hand painted furnishings throughout the United States and abroad.

My art, design, illustration, and photography has been licensed on a wide range of products including home goods, dinnerware, fine art prints, gifts, and stationery.  Getty Images also licenses a collection of my photography globally.  My work and writing has been published in journals, magazines, and books nationally and internationally.

When I am not working in the interior architecture and design field, I stay creative painting, making artful products for my online shops, looking through my camera lens, gardening, teaching art to children, biking along the beach, and of course spending as much time as I can with my lovely family.

If you hang out here long enough, you will have the first looks at the behind the scenes on many of my design projects - photos that I do not have on my website portfolio - the before and after project photos.  I will be sharing interior design tips, color palettes for your home or place of business, simple styling for corners of your home, holiday design, and much, much more.  Special offers on my artworks and photography will occasionally happen here too.

Pop your e-mail address in the subscription box on the side bar so you never miss a post.

Thanks so much for being here.
