On Hallow's Eve...

...we were out in the darkness of our neighborhood playing tricks for treats,

but this happy Jack and some friends of his decided to hang out at home...

reading ghost stories,

startled by howling Guss, but content among each other in their private pumpkin patch filled with

paper roses, pine cones, ghoulishly white pumpkins, and

giant greenish gourds adorned with golden yellow vintage millinery blooms.

Not so scary after all.

Their stories were finished by the time we arrived home

and in the darkness we could see their grins.  They were happy we were back home.

Hoping all of you had a ghoulishly good time too on your Hallow's Eve.

What tricks were you up to?

As always, thank you for your visit.

Ciao amici,

Had friends over for dinner. Had some decorations looking festive, but no dressing up. Your house is always done up so beautifully no matter the season.

I love your pumpkins, the flower stem made lovely and charming by the simple ribbon tied to it. Looks like a lovely Bethany Lowe pumpkin man. Very sweet d├ęcor. I love it! I have to pin these photos!
