I took a break from my "real work" a while back and fooled around with some pretty vintage millinery pieces, vintage violet flocked florist ribbon, my homegrown and dried French lavender,
...and some other "French style" beauties -
one of my favorite hand painted antique French side chairs I found for only twenty five dollars a few years ago,
a complete box of vintage French vocabulary cards I purchased at our library's Old Book Sale, along with the tiny French-English Dictionary {I do not even speak French, but loved these treasures}...
...and I created this vignette, fooling around with the focal points, angles, and lighting as a "study" in composition, colour, and texture...
..from which I captured two photographs I offer in my Society6 shop and which are available on fine art prints {framed & unframed} and stretched canvases.
Love this soft palette of tarnished silver, faded lavender, mossy green, and of course, French blue!
So much so, that if you take a peek up above, you'll see that I used one of these images in my new Spring blog banner.
Happy Monday.
As always, thank you for your visit and especially to those of you who let me know you were here!
Ciao amici,
Suzanne
