In the underbrush of the towering hardwoods and swaying Georgia pine trees that surround our home,
popping through the pine straw and crunchy leaves,
with Guss romping through the woods in and around the winter blossoms...
these delicate and oh~so~fragrant winter white narcissus bloom year after year. They sparkle in our back yard and so I wait as long as I can to snip them and bring them inside.
When I do, the entire house smells divine!
This is definitely one of the sweet things that Mother Nature gives us each cold and wet winter.
Happy Day.
