It's not too late to start planning your year...
...and marking your new 2013 calendar with all sorts of wonderful things to do.

The images shown on this calendar, Sandy Footpaths & Picket Fences, are close to my heart and made during my time spent in Seaside, Florida during the spring and summer months each year.

I hope these photographs will inspire you to take some time and wiggle your toes in the sand this year.
September ~ October
November ~ December
And even if you do not get the chance to wiggle your toes in the sand, take some time to dream.
I am happy to present this first edition of the Italian Girl in Georgia ~ Monkey Treats 2013 Calendar...a collaboration between me and my son Matthew.
Matthew
is my little boy who loves his bunny Gucci, his cavapoo Guss {who shares his
birthday}, math, riding his bike, tae kwon do, and painting.
January ~ February
March ~ April
His
love of the arts, encouraged by me {of course}, began when he was just a toddler. Using scraps of white mat board as his
canvases, he paints his creations. His
medium for the art works shown on the months of this calendar is
watercolour. The style is what we call modern~folk
art~impressionism.
May ~ June
July ~ August
Some
of these paintings were made when he was just about four years old and several
more recently. When this went to press,
Matthew was eight years old. We
affectionately titled this collection of his art, Monkey Treats which was what
he called his favorite Curious George fruit snacks when he was just learning to
talk.

Some of you have seen his charming and whimsical paintings before, for sale as individual fine art prints in my Etsy shop ~ thank you to those of you who have purchased his work. {All the profits from the sale of this calendar and his fine art prints go toward his college education ~ truly.}
As always, I appreciate your visit today and as you visit throughout the year.
Ciao amici,
Suzanne
