Home Grown Sunshine

These winter days may be dreary...

but nothing is more cheerful on a cold and blustery day than...

a fresh bouquet of some home grown sunshine...

and vintage daffodils plucked right out of the garden.

Just a few more weeks of these bright golden yellow posies left and then the Spring palette changes to pink cherry blossoms, azaleas, and tulip trees blooming all around town ~ the prettiest time of year in the South.

Happy first day of March.

Ciao amici,
Suzanne

those are so beautiful! we are in a new house now but in our old house we always had daffodils to remind us that warmer weather was on the way. I'm happy to have a blank slate to start my planting but I so wish the previous owners had planted something!

Hi Kelly ~

These daffodils have been bulldozed and they still bloom every year! It is a wonderful reminder that Spring is near.

Have fun in your new garden.

Ciao bella,
Suzanne
