My favorite time of year, isn't it yours too?
Especially in the South...after a cold winter and before the hot and humid summer. A perfect time of year - that in between time when we do not need to turn on our furnace, nor our air conditioner and we can throw open the windows and let the breeze blow in!
The blooms are bursting everywhere. Our garden is full of daffodils from butter cream to bright sunshine yellow, tiny white narcissus, snow drops, blush coloured Yoshino cherry blossoms, magnolia and tulip tree blooms, and the hibiscus and dogwoods are just ready to pop.
I captured these gorgeous cut stems of hot pink tulips, boldly placed against a pale dove grey wall. Pure simplicity.
Some of these photographs may end up in my Society6, Zazzle, and Etsy shops. I'm thinking that they would be fabulous as over-sized canvas or poster prints, don't you?
May you all enjoy this first weekend of Spring...even though some of you still may be in snow.
As always, thank you for your visit.
Ciao amici,
Suzanne
