Time for the "Booty Call"
It's the end of the international blog journey of One World One Heart ~ the fifth and final year. I would like to give a heartfelt thanks to all of you who visited me here and on My Front Porch. I hope you will come back again occasionally for a visit and let me know you were here.
Although I did not have the chance to visit as many new blogs as I had hoped to, the ones I found were very enjoyable ~there is a lot of talent out there and some of you had me laughing out loud with your wicked sense of humor!
I appreciate all of your comments, but especially those of you who took the time to write a personal note and not just "cut and paste" your comments from blog to blog...I think you know what I mean. The original intent of One World One Heart was to meet bloggers from around the world, perhaps find new friends, and see the artistic endeavors of those bloggers, not just enter a contest to win a prize...that's just the bonus. I think I found a few new friends.
So...now that I have your attention, {as if I did not have it already with those cute buns up above...} I would like to first show you some precious hand made angelic paper tags I have recently added to my collection.
From one of my most popular images...
"Booty Call"
I created this collection of note cards {or tags} by tinting the original black and white image of my angels in sky blue, pale pink, aquamarine, and yellow. I digitally added a few textures, layers, shadows, and other good stuff...
When satisfied, I made giclee prints on 140 pound cold press, acid free watercolour paper, layered and floated the angels onto another watercolour card, embellished each with coordinating rhinestones, and added colourful streamers of satin ribbon.
The edges of each card are burnished with silver ink and each is signed in pencil by me. I sell these in sets of four as shown above and can also do custom orders for baby showers, birthdays, or any special occasion. They are available in my Etsy shop.
Now I would like to offer a big congratulations to Daria Pew who is the lucky recipient of my Paris Rose.
Enjoy sweet Daria!
I will also be offering this photo for sale directly through me on My Front Porch.
Thank you Lisa, A Whimsical Bohemian, for another wonderful year of One World One Heart.
Ciao amici,
Suzanne
