Thanksgiving Wishes

Wishing all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving.

My table is set with white pumpkins...

ivory roses from my garden blooming in mossy containers...

rosemary sprigs tucked into miniature grapevine napkin rings...

and some sugar pinecones nestled in between.

The glow of twinkle lights and tea lights warms my home.

May you all have a blessed holiday.

Tea Time

Fit for a queen {for a day} or a princess...

These cotton and linen millinery flower tea towels are now part of my Natural Home Goods collection.

Each finger towel is hand ripped and sewn out of 100% white cotton twill.  The sides of the towels are folded over and carefully machine stitched and the other edges have a soft torn fringe.

The millinery flower is three layers of natural flax coloured Irish linen and white cotton twill with a pretty mother of pearl button hand sewn in the center.

Of course these frivolous necessities would not be complete without a hand stamped crown and tiara on a cotton tag ~ each attached to the towels with a large brass quilting pin and soft toffee coloured satin bow.

These would make beautiful hostess or house warming gifts and compliment an elegantly traditional, shabby chic, cottage farm, or Scandinavian interior.

Beautiful Notes

These wooden clip boards are the newest addition to my natural home goods collection.

The clips on each wooden board are adorned with my signature hand sewn cotton canvas millinery flower and mother of pearl button.  I have also added a hand stamped softly torn canvas tag which is attached with a brass quilting pin and a luxurious creamy mocha satin bow.

I sell these in sets of two ~ a large clip board on which to W R I T E  and a smaller memo board for  N O T E S. 

{That beautiful glass paper weight with a detail from Botticelli's Venus and The Graces I purchased at the Country Living Fair last month from a fabulous company called French Vanilla.}

Each wooden board is stamped in black ink with a crown and tiara. 

As a final detail, a band of cotton twill printed ribbon wraps the bottom of each board with the words Beautiful and CHERISH.

These are wonderful holiday gifts for teachers and home office essentials for working women, girlfriends, and just about anyone who wants to make their life more beautiful and cherish each day.
