Glamorous Black Ties & Roses

Well, you all know what time of year it is...a time to celebrate our love for our sweethearts, children, and friends. And as you can see, I've been on a bit of a rose kick lately.

For an edgy and contemporary twist on the traditional Victorian inspired tussie mussie, I have recently created these fresh paper cones using my original colour photographs of sumptuous red, blush pink, and creamy white roses which I have printed on smooth finish Bristol board and hand cut with a scalloped edge.

Each tussie mussie has a coordinating scalloped edge hang tag made of the same Bristol board adorned with a dangly crystal charm and a key tag with words of affection rubber stamped with a typewriter style font in silver ink.
I also sell these precious tags separately in my Etsy shop {as I mentioned in a recent post} and lucky for me, they are going to be featured in the upcoming issue of Romantic Country this Spring. The tags are adorable used as place cards tied around napkins or stem glasses. They would also be a sweet gift for a friend simply tied around a single rose.

A generous black satin ribbon pulls through punched holes for hanging the tussie mussies on door knobs or backs of chairs and filled with candy or flowers. They are perfect totes for flower girls to carry rose petals or as bridal shower gifts when filled with something special.

Crystal beads and baubles finish each with some sparkle. I have also added a poof of white toile inside each cone for cushioning the gift you may place inside.

These elegant and glamorous cones are the perfect pretty gifts for your love, your mother, daughter, or best friend. I will be showing you more roses from my collection in just a few days ~ so stay tuned.
For now a big hug to you.

Ciao amici.
