The Year of the Rabbit

Today we are celebrating Chinese New Year and the Year of the Rabbit...

...with a portrait session.

Those born in the Year of the Rabbit are said to be...

...a little shy and somewhat reserved.

Chinese astrology says that those bunny babes are  talented, virtuous, and kind.

Rabbits are also quite prosperous ~ enjoying the finer things in life.

I, on the other hand, was born in the Year of the Ox...and I must admit, I am a bit stubborn at times.

But I am also considered dependable, modest, and calm {except when I "go Italian"}There are more fabulous adjectives to describe my personality, but since I am so modest...

I would have had Gucci pose for this session, but he was enjoying a much finer nap!

Meanwhile, we did end up with these regal portraits of his stunt double, which will be available in my Etsy shop as limited edition signed prints.

You may visit my shop for details.

Happy Chinese New Year 4709!

I saw the comment you left on my blog about my book- I sold a copy of my book to an artist in Atlanta back in November. She is a professional calligrapher. Anyway in the interest of ~it's a small world~ perhaps she is a regular on your blog and said something about my book. either way I am so very glad you stopped by and said hello during OWOH!
