Summer Table

The glow of the afternoon sun...

with warm yellows and cool blues was the perfect table setting for a Mediterranean style summer dinner with friends.

Shasta daisies and boxwood sprigs cut from our garden placed in my hand painted Mexican sipping cups {which I use more often as individual vases instead of shot glasses} greeted each guest as they sat down at the table.

Italian blue and white dinnerware, bright yellow woven mats, lemon print napkins, and my new table runner and chair seat cushions in a batik style fabric I sewed earlier this year came together effortlessly.

It was so pretty that I did not want to mess it up with the food!

This classic palette of blue and yellow is timeless and one of my all time favorite colour combinations.  Claude Monet would be proud.

These two photographs above turned out so vibrant that I will be offering them in my Etsy boutique and my new Society6 shop, where my photography is available exclusively on framed fine art prints and stretched canvases.  But if you just can't wait, these other Mediterranean blues and yellows are in the shops now.

I hope you will visit me at my Society!

As always, thank you for joining me today.

Ciao amici,
Suzanne
