My Winter White Garden

In the underbrush of the towering hardwoods and swaying Georgia pine trees that surround our home,

popping through the pine straw and crunchy leaves,

with Guss romping through the woods in and around the winter blossoms...

these delicate and oh~so~fragrant winter white narcissus bloom year after year.  They sparkle in our back yard and so I wait as long as I can to snip them and bring them inside.

When I do, the entire house smells divine!

This is definitely one of the sweet things that Mother Nature gives us each cold and wet winter.

Happy Day.

Ciao amici,
Suzanne

Those little splashes of green and white through the leaves are beautiful! I can only imagine how your home smells. :) Glad you posted on the Launch Your Creativity FB page.... my family will be relocating to Alabama in a few months so reading about the South is exciting to me! :)

It will be a bit longer before I am able to enjoy ours so thank you for sharing yours. Guss is so adorable and looks lie he is enjoying the flowers too :)
