White Wednesday ~ Romantic, Pure, Clean, Fresh!

The neutral, clean, romantic, and pure palette of white always seems to capture my attention. If I could have two homes, I would design and decorate one in all possible shades of white.

This gorgeous goddess hangs in my bedroom. I found her reclining in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles, France, one stormy afternoon.

Could this be a sculpted portrait of Miss Marie?

And, although my home is hardly an all white home, I do surround myself with the freshness of it all where and when I can...

...and adorn myself too.

Some of my favorite books...

Flowers in my garden...

...and those sweet smelling roses I bring inside.

The best view from a white pavillion of cerulean seas...

...and a crystal white sandy beach.

Treasures found in the sand...
...and in our backyard.

Projects to begin...

White picket fences and fresh daisies...

Delicate doilies...

Precious linens...

And some innocent little booties.

This is the first time I have participated in "White Wednesday" so I thought I would also take this opportunity to introduce some products in my newest line of Natural Cotton Home Goods.

Each of these precious miniature grapevine wreaths are crowned with my signature cotton millinery flower and are hand stitched with a mother of pearl button in the center. A white satin bow finishes each napkin ring with a special touch.

These are fabulous with my coordinating collection of placemats and napkins, but also look great with pretty lacey white or natural linens. It’s a terrific contrast in textures and a lovely monochromatic look. These are now available in my Etsy shop and directly through me for wholesale orders, as well.

For casually elegant and chic interior design this 100% white cotton twill pillow is the perfect cushion to rest on your chair, sofa, or bed. The edges are hand ripped for a soft edge and machine stitched one inch from the edge ~ so you can pull more threads if you wish to make a longer fringed edge.

Three of my signature cotton millinery flowers, hand stitched with a mother of pearl button in the center, gracefully adorn this pillow. It is filled with downy soft poly fil and machine stitched closed.

A silver quilting pin tied with a grosgrain bow holds a cotton tag hand stamped in black ink with a typewriter font reads, “RELAX.”

This pillow would make a fabulous and unique ring bearer’s pillow for a wedding especially if customized with a tag stamped, “LOVE” or a monogram initial tag.

Speaking of LOVE...how about hanging this hand made cotton heart ornament on your bedroom or boudoir door...

...or antique dresser drawer.
